The price of online tickets is lower than at the ticket office, and the earlier you purchase, the better the price. Online tickets can be purchased up to 60 minutes before the start of the selected tour. If online tickets are unavailable, they can be bought at the ticket office before the descent, according to the schedule set by the Customer Service Office.

Can I explore the mine on my own, or leave earlier?
Staying in the excavations is only allowed under the supervision of a mine staff member; it is not possible to explore the mine on your own. Leaving earlier is only possible in justified situations, such as an emergency, and requires arranging staff supervision for the exit.
Is it possible to visit the mine all year round?
The mine is open for tours all year round, except for a few holiday dates.
How long does the tour last?
Depending on the chosen route, the tour lasts either 3 or 4 hours.
What is the temperature in the mine?
The mine maintains a constant temperature of approximately 14-17°C, even during the summer.
What are the health contraindications?
The main contraindications for entering the mine include circulatory and respiratory failure, as well as claustrophobia. Entry is also prohibited for individuals under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
Is there time to rest during the tour?
Yes, the tour includes a break of approximately 30 minutes in the Ważyn Chamber.
Can a very young child go down into the mine?
If there are no health contraindications, there are no age restrictions. We recommend choosing an appropriate tour route based on individual needs.
